#76: Making Room for Mistakes

Accept your humanness.

Even as we embrace the journey of personal development, eventually, we'll stumble. We'll order the wrong drink, say the wrong thing, or make the wrong decision. We'll break our habit streaks, be mean or indecisive with someone, or spend a day vegging out.

And as hard as it is to grasp sometimes, that's okay. You're an imperfect human being.

Beating yourself up about it won't make you a better person—just a sad and defeated one. Feel the feelings that come with it (but not for too long, we don't want to wallow) and then, when you're ready, begin again.
