I didn't feel inspired to work on my three big tasks at work today. But I did.

I dreaded recording my expenses on my Notion tracker and didn't look forward to booking an appointment for my passport renewal, but I dragged my butt to the desk and did both.

I didn't want to write this, yet here you are, reading these words.

And it's not because I had a bottomless well of willpower nor solid self-discipline (between you and me? I still have a LOT to work on in this area).

What helped me accomplish these tasks today—even when I didn't feel like it is David Allen's two-minute rule. While you're at it, you can also check out Mel Robbin's 5-second rule (I felt silly when I tried it, but maybe you'll find it helpful).
